Frequently Asked plumbing Questions

Look for damp spots, mould growth, rising water bills or reduced pressure. Our plumbers use leak detection technology to locate hidden leaks quickly and accurately.

We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week — including public holidays. Whether your pipe bursts on Christmas Eve or your hot water system fails Sunday morning, our team is ready to respond.

A plumbing emergency is any issue that risks water damage, gas exposure, or disruption to essential services. This includes burst pipes, overflowing drains, sewer backups, no hot water, or gas leaks. If waiting will cause more damage or make your home unsafe, it’s an emergency.

First, check if the circuit breaker or pilot light has tripped or gone out. If your system is older or leaking, it may need repairs or replacement. Our licensed plumbers service all hot water brands and can even install a temporary system while your new unit is arranged.

A faulty flush valve, worn-out seal or inlet valve may be causing water to run continuously. This wastes water and can increase your bill. We repair and replace all toilet types, including concealed cisterns and smart toilets.

Slow drainage, gurgling sounds, bad smells or water pooling in the yard are key signs. Left untreated, this can escalate into sewer overflow. We clear blocked drains using high-pressure jetters and CCTV inspections.

Yes. Excessive pressure can damage taps, appliances, flexi hoses, and even burst pipes. We install pressure reduction valves to protect your plumbing and keep your insurance valid.

No. Only licensed gas fitters can legally and safely install or repair gas systems. DIY work is illegal and can void insurance or cause serious danger. We handle gas compliance, installations, and repairs across Sydney.

Corrosion, tree root intrusion, high pressure or flexi hose failure are common causes. Turn off the water at the mains immediately and call our 24/7 emergency team.

At least once a year. Flushing removes sediment buildup that reduces efficiency and can damage the tank. We offer professional hot water maintenance to extend your system’s lifespan.

About Marayong, NSW

Marayong is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Marayong is located approximately 32 kilometres north west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of the City of Blacktown and is part of the Greater Western Sydney region. == History == The name 'Marayong' is derived from the Dharug language word 'Mariyung', which means emu or place of cranes. The name was first given by the New South Wales Railways to the railway station when it opened in October 1922. Around 1900–1905, large areas were subdivided and market gardens and poultry farms were established. The area was part of Quakers Hill but in 1926 the Marayong Progress Association applied to have Marayong made a suburb, in its own right. The area was mostly rural until the 1960s. Housing Commission (public housing) estates, opened in the 1960s, marked the urbanization of the suburb predominantly south of the railway line. In addition, an industrial area was also released north of the railway line. == Demographics == The population of Marayong was 7,834 at the 2021 census.
